Dull Silver
This coating is more versatile than semi-bright silver because it can be applied to components from varying industrial sectors.

This silver is good for use on electrical contacts and relays as it is silver in its purest form (99.9%) and therefore a very efficient electrical conductor.

The finish is also very lubricious which makes it suitable for use in telecomm components where resistance against rubbing wear are essential.

Silver plating can be applied to various base metals, some of the most common types are copper, brass and even aluminium.

Silver can be plated to various specified thicknesses depending on each customers requirements, or to the relevant BS or IEC spec.
